Bargello

DESCRIPTION

Inspired by the needlepoint embroideries of Florence, this modified flame stitch pattern combines color and "stepping" to produce a more eclectic version than the classical Bargello works. Woven using a blend of Tibetan wool, Chinese silk and a natural nettle fiber to create overall texture and shine with accents in pure silk added to provide a unique shimmer and contrast. This particular coloration features a combination of indigo, cobalt, icey grey blue and sky blue with an unexpected touch of chartreuse silk. This piece has been crafted by hand in our true 100 knot quality. color: blues
