DESCRIPTION

Drawing inspiration from the alligator, the organic animal trellis pattern shimmers as the light hits the silk. The background is Tibetan wool that has been hand-spun and hand-carded in a burnt sienna color and the motifs are a mixture of burnt sienna Chinese silk and copper-accented areas in a three ply blend of wool, silk and natural nettle fibers to create added texture and depth.
